Gana Art Foundation and Gana Art present 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝟣, on view at Gana Art Center from April 15 to April 29, 2026. Marking the beginning of the “Artists” series, the exhibition brings together key works from Gana Art’s collection, built over the past four decades, offering a focused look at leading figures in Korean contemporary art.

KAWAUCHI RIKAKO
Gana Art presents The Blade of the Forest Within, the first solo exhibition in Korea by Kawauchi Rikako, an artist recognized for her ongoing exploration of the boundaries between body and mind, and between interior and exterior. Kawauchi develops a distinct painterly language through the physical process of layering thick pigment and incising into the surface, allowing images to emerge through a balance of control and immediacy.

Gana Art LA presents Tale of Tales, a solo exhibition by Eddie Kang (b. 1980), who has consistently conveyed messages of happiness and hope through his work. Kang has long depicted what he calls a “Happy Place,” a space of respite in a highly individualistic contemporary society where one can pause and reconnect with long-forgotten senses of innocence.

가나아트는 한국인의 삶과 정서를 얼굴과 풍경에 담아온 권순철(Kwun Suncheol, b.1944-)의 개인전 《넋(L’âme)》을 2026년 2월 12일부터 3월 8일까지 가나아트센터 ‘SPACE 97’에서 개최합니다. 본 전시는 2020년 전시 이후 6년만에 가나아트에서 선보이는 개인전으로, 한층 더 심화된 권순철의 작업 세계를 조망할 수 있는 신작과 함께 대표작 , , 연작을 포함한 회화 30여 점을 선보입니다.

Gana Art presents 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦, a solo exhibition by Choi Jongtae (b. 1932–), a pioneer of Korean modern sculpture. This exhibition focuses on the 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦 series, a subject that has occupied a central place throughout the artist’s long career. Among the figures and human body sculptures he has consistently explored since his early years, the face stands out as a significant motif — serving as an expression of human inner nature, a commentary on contemporary realities, and a vehicle for formal experimentation.

Gana Art is delighted to present "Overlap", a solo exhibition by Park Chelho (b. 1965). Since the 1990s, Park’s practice has developed from printmaking as its point of departure, consistently engaging with natural forms and the underlying principles that shape them. His early works engaged directly with natural forms, but he has progressively moved toward abstraction, translating nature's rhythms into visual structures.
